Commercial

With our attention to detail and adaptability, we are able to address our talents to suit your commercial needs.

The following are recent examples of our work:-

The Wedgwood Institute Stoke on Trent     Renewal of public library facility and the creation of ‘hi tech’ office accommodation for rent. An outstanding listed building, largely unused and in a very poor condition; requiring detailed assessment of condition, survey and ‘as proposed’ design drawings and the provision of disabled access across a complex range of floor levels, to ensure accessibility for the DDA (Disability and Discrimination Act).

Silver Hill Court Phase II Derbyshire     Following the successful completion of Phase I, our practice has been appointed to carry out the conversion of over 150 sq m of agricultural buildings, to include the re-construction of a further 300 sq m of new build office accommodation, for the Radbourne Estate.

Cathedral Visitor Centre Derby     Providing a high profile visitor centre, including café, shop and treasury; listed building formerly used as a book shop; complex levels required the installation of a carefully positioned lift to full DDA requirements.

Shop fronts in Burton on Trent     Working with East Staffordshire District Council, Housing Improvement Programme; commissioned to liaise with shop owners, involving 5 or 6 different businesses, in order to achieve a comprehensive renewal of all of their retail frontages.  The existing shop fronts were run down, poorly signed and lacked a consistency in form and style, in a location, which required some sensitivity, facing a group of listed Victorian Almshouses.
